(Shoura BNC): Shoura for building national consensus is a non- governmental organization that led by women. Shoura was founded in 2019 as a consultative body to enhance the participatory approach by building the national consensus and seeking strategic partnerships with local and national stakeholders.How we build the consensus: our local and national priorities and emerging issues would be defined through conducting national consultations and joint dialogues in partnership with all national institutions, and Jordan- based INGOs.The consultations will include governmental bodies, local and international civil society organizations, youth and women led organisations and all stakeholders concerned with achieving the sustainable development goals (SDGs) and the development of civil and local communities.What Shoura means in Arabic?. It means in the pure Arabic Language, (the consultation, and seeking for other's opinion, advices, guidance and decisions to agree upon an issue). That's why Shoura comes with "Building National Consensus" since they are closely attached in the language.As a civil society organisation, Shoura BNC, seeks to be a great player in achieving a positive change in the Jordanian context and the local communities depending on the participatory approach and consultations to agree upon Jordan's issues. Partnerships and looking for consensus are considered the spirit of the work of the organisation.
