Silvavir ecologisch advies is in 2010 opgericht door Sil Westra and Roy Mol. 'Silva' staat in het Latijn voor bos en 'Vir' voor man. Als bosbouwkundig ingenieurs werken we op projectbasis voor allerlei opdrachtgevers zoals overheden, terreinbeheerders, ingenieursbureaus en PGO's. We zijn breed inzetbaar maar door onze ruime ervaring met GIS applicaties en faunawerk worden we hier vaak voor ingeschakeld. Onze achtergrond in Tropische bosbouw trekt ons af en toe naar projecten in warme delen van de aarde.Silvavir is an ecological consultant agency that was founded in 2010 by Sil Westra and Roy Mol. In latin 'Silva' means forest and 'Vir' stands for man. As forestry engineers we work project based for a range of clients like governments, nature managers, forestry companies, consultancies and NGO's. We are all-rounders but we have extensive knowlegde and experience with GIS applications and animal ecology. We are based in the Netherlands but our background in tropical forestry draws us to projects abroad every now and again.
