The prototype DISC3D, developed by Small World Vision since 2014, is already proving its advantages over conventional 3D scanners in the successful digitization of insects at 10 different German sites.Today, a completely revised 3D scanner is being developed into a market-ready device that is best adapted to the requirements of research institutions and museums in Germany and around the world.
