Somaliland Higher Education Teachers' Union - SOMHETU

Somaliland higher education teachers union(SOMHETU) is a national trade union registered at the ministry of social affairs and employment. It is a labour union that stands for as an umbrella that protects the rights of national teachers of higher education under Somaliland trade union act regulations and International labour organization(ILO) labour law. SOMHETU endeavours to achieve its national vision it is built on, by the unification of Somaliland higher education teachers under the teaching profession they share as a common, through inspiring the value of accommodation and common belongness for the passion of seeding and fostering the knowledge in the hearts of young teenagers in order to become visionaries and futuristics of tomorrow's leaders by widening their thinking horizons.
