There is an urgent need to approach the shared challenges we all face with an abundant, collective mindset and carve out collaborative solutions that deliver long-term change. What we doTake Note is a sector support initiative that advocates for collaborative best practice and provides strategic partnership support, empowering the social change sector to deliver joined-up, long-lasting impact, and connecting community innovators and initiatives through sharing tools, ideas & learning.How we do itThe Take Note approach is rooted in on-the-ground action research conducted over three years together with 30 community partners as part of our Collective Impact Lab, funded by Footwork Trust and the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation. The research and findings from our work with the Collective Impact Lab lives on in the form of our newly published Collaboration Guidebook - a set of tools and resources for partnership available open access to the sector. With the research phase complete, we are now focusing on developing Take Note's Partnership Portfolio on a project by project basis, led by a freelance Take Note team who deliver bespoke support to partners and disseminate our recommendations for best practice in collaborative working across the social change sector.
