The history of Teddy-Hermann started in 1912 with the founder of the company Bernhard Hermann in Sonneberg in Germany - at that time the world's toy capital. Today Teddy-Hermann is a very successful family business and with Bernd Mischner and Dorothee Weinhold -the great-grandchildren of Bernhard Hermann- already the fourth generation has an executive function in the family business. Both inherited the close relation to teddybears & co., they virtually grew up in the workshops between plush and toys and have been influenced by this experience. Both agree: we are working in the most beautiful business of the world. As a child Dorothee preferred to play with teddies instead of dolls and Bernd's favourite activity was to distribute together with the former production supervisor Katinka articles made in home work. The brand Teddy Hermann Collection is based on a passion for only the best quality and great focus on safety for children and babies. The designs are classic, simple and timeless, and the inspiration comes from nature's beautiful universe of animals.
