The Dogwood Invitational at Druid Hills Golf Club has supported junior golfers in Georgia since 1994. The tournament is proud to continue as one of the greatest national and world-wide men's amateur golf tournaments. Established at Druid Hills Golf Club in 1941, and resurrected in 1994 after a 21-year absence, tThe Dogwood Invitational is a time-tested tradition in the amateur golf circuit.Atlanta Junior Golf (AJG) and the Wayne Reynolds Scholarship Foundation (WRSF) are the beneficiaries of The Dogwood Invitational. The tournament supports AJG in an effort to expand its programs throughout metropolitan Atlanta and continue teaching juniors the game of golf. Since 1994, WRSF has awarded college scholarships to more than 20 students who represent the virtues of hard work and commitment to golf and academics. These deserving organizations have benefited from our sponsors' generosity, the tournaments founders and committed golf patrons.The tournament raises funds and awareness to help junior golf be successful in touching the lives of as many young golfers as possible. We raise money for our charities by inviting the best amateur golfers in the world to compete for the Dogwood Invitational Championship, on one of the most beautiful and challenging courses in the Southeast.
