The Natural Portraiture Company was set up because we have a belief in a certain style and approach to portraiture and it was this ethos that provided us with our name. We feel that a portrait should be natural and unforced, beautifully composed and of a high technical finish. We felt that people wanted portraits that were a little bit different and were more natural. We felt that there was a need for portraits that captured a side of the person's personality, that made a connection with the subject and that didn't rely on people jumping in the air or the print contrast being taken to an extreme level.Our approach has always been about employing an informal and relaxed methodology. We feel that in order to get the best portrait, the subject needs to be as relaxed and as unselfconscious as possible. Our approach to a portraiture session is to put you at your ease and take the time to get things right.We want to go above and beyond, and provide our clients with logical extras as part of the service. For example, we provide different crop variations so that clients have their portrait already cropped to a square for the best composition, so that they have it to use for their icon in Twitter or Facebook.
