The Ntarama Foundaion is a Christian foundation that has no interest in financial gain. The majority of us, who are members, have had the experience and testimony of having conquered, with the help of God, serious problems, alcohol and addiction in general. Since 2006, we have offered our example and experience as voluntary workers in Tanzania.The name "Ntarama" originates from the Chagaa people of Northern Tanzania within the Kilimanjaro region, the word bears a meaning of help provided at the most crucial time and normally used in context there is no other word to describe any other form of assistance.
