The Owl's Cove sits in a small valley below Kruger Rock, with commanding mountain views and a distinctive modern vibe. The home is 10 minutes to the National Park, to downtown, and to the forest service trail network off USFS 119 at the top of nearby Little Valley Road. Because we are so close to thousands of square miles of open space and public land, it's very likely you'll see lots of visitors as you sip your morning coffee: elk, deer, bobcats, turkeys, birds of prey, bears and even wild cats. The home was completely remodeled in 2022 and every single surface inside and and out was redone with a cool modern aesthetic. The hallmark deck and connected patio offer a fire pit, hot tub, and lots of outdoor living and dining area -- all with incredible views. It's a perfect retreat for families, and if kids need some time to themselves, they can retreat to our play room in the basement, complete with retro Atari and Nintendo consoles. All three bedrooms are on the main floor, along with the kitchen, dining and living room. Huge windows open to beautiful mountain vistas, a piping hot gas fireplace provides cozy atmosphere, and a hifi soundbar and record player will help you relax. Best thing ever: snowshoe all day, sit in the hot tub at dusk, and then wind down with Pink Floyd on vinyl in front of the fireplace.
