At the Salusa Community we believe that everyone should have access to information and resources to find suitable exercise opportunities for their ability level. As a social enterprise, we exist to empower people to be in control and to make decision about their own physical and mental wellbeing.We aim to achieve our mission by bringing together all of the relevant services and professionals into one accessible online resource for individuals to access. We have created a directory of classes, professionals and services that all specifically work with different health conditions, disabilities or older adults in general.The resource is deliberately designed to be user friendly and as simple of possible for a user to find relevant, suitable activity within their local area. It provides individuals with the opportunity to search for activity specifically for their condition, compare these services and subsequently provide reviews for others to read.The primary social impact of the Salusa Community is that we support people with a chronic condition, disability or older adults to access physical activity and improve their wellbeing. In addition to this we also provide the platform for increased peer support and communication.
