This Way Up aspires to provide homeless individuals (LGBTQIA2S+ & BIPOC prioritized) with creative programming, resources, information and access to community.We are a collective of individuals who have been or are currently a part of the shelter system in Toronto. We founded this initiative with the intention of helping homeless QTBIPOC youth. That still remains a large part of our motivation, but since we've grown we've reflected on our roots. Child, youth, adult - you can be homeless at any point! Tough times don't discriminate based on age. However, we want to be clear: this collective prioritizes Black, Indigenous, POC who identify as a part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community.
