Trapero has exclusive services to collect, process, recycle and dispose solid waste from residential premises, corporation areas and commercial businesses in the City. This process is considered to be the equivalent of mandatory commercial recycling. All solid waste generated by businesses and multifamily units will be collected by Trapero using existing trash enclosures and bins, and processed through a mixed waste materials recovery facility. This eliminates the need to modify existing bin enclosures to accommodate separate recycling bins and train employees on recycling requirements. As required by the City, Trapero Waste Management will track, monitor and report to the State on program effectiveness and diversion data.
