The UNSW United Nations Society is one of the largest and most diverse societies at the University of New South Wales. We seek to attract the best and brightest students from all disciplines, and to help them develop personally, academically and professionally. Our members win awards at prestigious international conferences, and contribute back to the community through the Model UN programs and education workshops we run at disadvantaged, rural and regional high schools. Our alumni excel professionally in a variety of fields. Many go on to work at top law firms, in management consulting, and at the United Nations. Since its inception in 1995, the United Nations Society has founded the Asia-Pacific Model United Nations Conference, as well as the annual University Diplomacy Conference, and is increasing its corporate and community outreach every year.
