Universitas yang berusaha memadukan antara IPTEK dan IMTAQ sesuai dengan status yang disandangnya, yaitu lembaga pendidikan tinggi yang secara historis lahir di lingkungan pesantren. Visinya adalah menjadi perguruan tinggi berkeadaban yang memiliki basis tata kelola unggul (good governance university) dalam mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan seni berdasarkan Trilogi dan Pancakesadaran Pesantren Nurul Jadid, berjiwa kewirausahaan, dan berwawasan keindonesiaan tahun 2022.Vision:To become an excellent, innovative, civilized (credible) university in the development of science, art and technology based on Islamic values and teachings, entrepreneurial spirit and national (Indonesian-ness) insight. Mission:- Conducting Tri Dharma (education and teaching, research, and community service) of higher education institution in developing the science of Islam;- Creating graduates who have high intellectuality, virtuous character, spiritual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and are able to compete globally;- Disseminating science to establish a civilized society within the framework of nationality;- Developing Islamic science that is responsive to the needs of plural society and capable of becoming the basis for the development of a civilised society. Goals:- Creating a research-based academic climate through innovative, cooperative, and collaborative learning processes;- Increasing the quality of implementation of Tri Dharma (education and teaching, research, and community service) of higher education, which is the driving force/pioneer in introducing science and Islamic science to the life of society;- Producing graduates who become members of society with professional skills that are applicable to develop science and Islam;- Making science and Islamic science more useful and relevant to the needs of plural society and able to inspire the growth of civilized society.
