'Up & About' is a premium office chair with fully automated technology that encourages users to sit less and be more active in the workplace, improving their overall well-being and productivity, while reducing the health risks associated with prolonged sitting.Research continues to mount showing sedentary workplace behaviours, more specifically, prolonged sitting is an emerging public health and occupational health issue with serious implications for the health of our working population.Prolonged sitting is linked to premature mortality, diabetes, musculoskeletal disorders and risk factors associated with cardiovascular disease as well as the mounting evidence which shows further correlation to decreased productivity, increased medical and workers compensation costs for businesses.
