Our employees apply their specialist knowledge of sourcing, project management, logistics and stock planning to serve our customers within the Industry and Energy markets on a daily basis.In 1947, Van Leeuwen Belgium was founded. It was Van Leeuwen's first foreign branch. The company initially housed itself in a small office in Brussels, with storage facilities in the port of Antwerp. In 1951, the company purchased a site in Vilvoorde, an important industrial city in the heart of Belgium. The site covers 14,000 m² and has a warehouse, which henceforth allowed stock to be stored on its own premises. The company grew steadily and, especially in the 1970s and 1980s, expanded its market share substantially. Van Leeuwen Belgium operates in both the Industry and Energy markets. On 1st July 2023, Van Leeuwen Buizen België merged with Wauters Aciers Spéciaux SA/NV, signifying a new era of steel distribution in Belgium and neighbouring regions.
