Team Vegapod Hyperloop is a student-driven team from Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, working on the scalability and development of hyperloop technology. The team manufactures scalable hyperloop prototypes and has time and again represented India at various international forums.Team Vegapod Hyperloop recently represented India at the European Hyperloop Week 2023, which was held at the University of Edinburgh, UK. Here, at the European Hyperloop Week, the team achieved an impressive feat, securing a position amongst the world's top six teams, showcasing a fully operational hyperloop prototype. Notably, Team Vegapod Hyperloop stood as the sole Asian representative to successfully pass the rigorous Testing and Safety Documentation (TSD) round, marking a significant milestone for the team.Team Vegapod Hyperloop is currently in preparation of taking part in the 2024 edition of the European Hyperloop Week, which will be held in ETH Zurich. Through our tireless dedication, we are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to vie for a coveted award, implementing cutting-edge technologies such as magnetic levitation, vacuum compatibility, and advanced cooling systems. With resolute determination, our objective is to not only bring prestige to our esteemed university but also to proudly represent Bharat on this global stage.
