The Virtual Global Nation (VGN) is an open, bottom-up, meta-level democratic government, as well as an international governmental organization (IGO). It is designed to provide a new kind of government to empower people around the world to deal with some of today's most pressing issues by providing a new kind of cross-border voting, actionable paths, new institutional models, and new check-and-balance systems. It is the governmental body for the new third generation web economy.It is based on and made possible by the third generation web technology designed and built by Rational Data International, Inc. (RDI), a social entrepreneurial organization.
