WAX is an interdisciplinary design firm in Munich and Beijing, exploring generative design methodologies developed from the complex self-organising behavior of social, environmental and material systems . WAX is engaging in different fields of design via encoded and explicit processes. WAX's work is focusing on the problems of social-economy and ecology in the process of the rapid urbanization around the world.Currently, the firm carries forward with the ongoing construction of GuAN Citizen Service Center, a unique low-energy exhausted office building in GuAN, which is expected to be completed by end of this October. Additionally, the firm is involving with a larger-scale project in Tsingtao, recently completing in early DD design stage for Tsingtao 2014 Expo, collaborating with Tsingtao design Institute.
