Worldwide kitchen is an hospitality network which aims at making travellers to connect with local people around the world.Through a location based search system, one can find locals willing to open their kitchen or share a meal with foreigner.As a local, you can open you kitchen. Meaning you would let travellers use it to cook, or you could leave your table open. Meaning you are willing to accept backpackers to eat with you.The project is really similar to couchsurfing. A request system and review system is used. On couchsurfing not everyone is able or willing to host people for a night. We thought that sharing a meal was a more natural way to make contact and at the same time, helping travelling to have a better understanding of the country there are to in addition to be sure to always be able to find something as necessary and critical as food. Some unfortunate events can occur during backpacking and it's a securing idea to be able to rely on a strong network of hospitabilty.
