zqrME is a fashion-friendly wearable that allows consumers to be in control during any emergency. With a simple tap of a button on the zqrME ring or bracelet, the user can send a distress call to anyone around the world. Friends, relative or the authorities will be a click away. But ZQRME is not only a high tech accessory. We are working with designers from around the world to make zqrME an accessory consumers will want to wear, not only for their personal security but because it looks amazing! With zqrME people don’t waste time looking for their phone during an emergency. All they have to do is click the panic button on their zqrME accessory. This will trigger the distress protocol in their phone making it read the users current location and upload it to our servers. Once the event has been initialized, our cloud based backend pulls a list of the user's emergency network together with each individual contact method (SMS, Push, Facebook, Twitter). The system then crafts a message including the event URL and send it to the network. Each member of the security network can then access the URL, review the location of their friend and decide what the best course of action would be. Whether going away for college, looking after a relative or simply because users want to feel more secure, zqrME will keep users confident that help will be there when needed!
