IMPOSSIBLE SITES dans la rue is a collective public art project, active in Italy, Senegal and Morocco.We started our nomadic project at the end of the 2006th and we are still going on, moving.Our aim is using art as an instrument for social development, intercultural meeting and different responsibility.
To do that, we- bring our competences everywhere it can be useful- transfer artistic and sociological tools to inhabitants, operators, professors- allow everyone to get possession of our project, becoming not a simple participant but an author and a protagonist.We travel, creating participated lectures of public spaces, looking for impossible sites (physical or metaphorical), researching relationships and conflicts between inhabitants and their urban/rural space.During our pinhole urban labs, we ‘draw' collective lecture of landscapes.We translate our participated maps with installation, billposting, conference and videos.IMPOSSIBLE SITES dans la rue was born at the end of the 2007, for want of Giuditta Nelli, as a natural evolution of the community based project IMPOSSIBLE SITES (2006).
