Idara Al-Khair is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) that was set up with the core purpose of making education accessible in the most deprived and destitute areas of the country. Since the inception of its first school in 1987, the organization has branched out into multiple establishments which include clinics, vocational training centers and an intermediate level college. Currently, there are 7 campuses of Al-Khair schools, with over 4000 students enrolled, which are located in multiple poverty-stricken slum areas around Pakistan.
