I am designer of an ancient line of jewelry manufactured in the Mongolian area which we wholesale domestically and interntionally. It is made in the tradition of the Faberge eggs utilizing sterling silver with 24kt vermeil, fired enamel and gemstones. Each piece is handmade with tweezers and requires two crafts persons several days to make. Our mission is to provide work for approximately 30 women in a small village and to preserve an art form that has been passed down for 1000 years. I design for National Geographic Society and Smithsonian catalogues and sell to art galleries, boutiques, gift stores and other retail stores.
