The company Infrasurvey Sàrl was created in 2010 in Switzerland. Infrasurvey has obtained the Innovation price of the Banque Cantonale Neuchâteloise (BCN) for the invention of an UnderGround Positionning System UGPS. Infrasurvey also obtain the support of Finergence, a foundation for innovative companies.Infrasurvey proposes an innovative solution to monitor landslides and other ground movements using GNSS (GPS and Glonass satellite constellations) to obtain a centimetric accuracy (subcentimetric standard deviation). It uses a network of GPS modules connected by radio and alimented by solar panels. The installation is fast, easy and “plug and play”. This project is financially and technically supported by the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN), with the program for environmental technologies.
