ISHR has found that one of the best ways to gain and retain interest and to keep positive attitudes is to provide a variety of programs and activities that members can participate in. This organization offers several different award programs, contests, events, specials and discounts for the members and their registered ISHR horses. Membership is NOT mandatory and the fees are low. The staff, officers, and represent- atives DO NOT receive any type of wage or salary - ALL are VOLUNTEERS! So, all the money taken in goes back into the registry.
