LGBT Confex is an organization that focuses on creating dialogue among business, educational and informational high-quality gatherings for the LGBT market in Mexico and Latinamerica, bringing together companies that promote economic, social and cultural empowerment of all its members. In Mexico, during the past four years of exchanging ideas and building alliances with businesses, different levels of government and universities, LGBT Confex has formed a support system through a series of annual events and workshops that provide valuable resources, recognizing there is a deficiency of information that could potentially develop an opportunity to promote awareness in many organizations. These events and workshops have gradually helped the lives of many people at a point where they have become social activists within their own jobs engaging others to strive for better conditions for the LGBT community. It is always rewarding looking at the outcomes from these experiences in which LGBT Confex has managed to make it happen by exchanging knowledge at its events. It keeps us with that spark of light as to why we need to continue reaching out to others and make sure everyone has the opportunity to be part of this learning process.
