The purpose of this corporation is to be a public charity to receive donations, grants or contributions and to utilize its income and assets for the preservation, protection and maintenance of Lake St. Catherine, a public body of water in the state of Vermont, and its environs. Its purpose will include education on environmental issues affecting Lake St. Catherine and its watershed areas, testing of water and soil for pollution, and mitigation and/or removal of harmful materials, substances or plants in or upon Lake St. Catherine so that the burdens of government in these areas are lessened. This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or the corresponding section of any future tax code. No portion of the corporation's assets or income will be used for any private purpose.
