Mobilizing youth to create just, climate-resilient futures as, explorers, makers and doers who - turn science into art for environmental action.For the past four years, our commitment has been to connect young minds and communities with the environment through art, design, and science discovery programs. Our diverse and comprehensive project-based programs teach critical and creative thinking, communication and problem solving skills. Sparking a profound sense of environmental responsibility for local lands and waterways.We've collaborated with multitude of partners at the municipal level to design and pilot projects, addressing critical issues like sea level rise, water quality, marine habitats, coral restoration, hydroponics, and the identification of microplastics to go beyond raising awareness. Empowering young individuals by providing them with skills, creative access, and policy knowledge, enabling them to take on leadership roles in the climate movement.Ocean trash turns into art and the 3 R's (reduce, reuse, recycle) adds to our scientific method. Youth train as citizen scientists, artful maker labs replace science lessons and in the words of a student: "protecting the planet is so cool."
