Lombok Animal Rescue is a non profit organisation with a goal to eliminate animal abuse, extinction and to provide medical care to wild and unfortunate animals of Lombok.Lombok Animal Rescue started when a local vet and animal lover Dr Gede wanted to improve the overall well-being of Lombok's precious animals.With vetiranary training in Australia, 4 years teaching ways to improve Veterinary procedures in China and working with other organisations such as Gili Eco Trust performing surgery to over 300 cats on the Gili Islands alone, Dr Gede now hopes to provide treatment and care to wild animals throughout more areas of Lombok.Our other main goal is to work with local primary schools to encourage safe environments for the animals to live, and help encourage locals to report injured and sick animals to Lombok Animal Rescue for any medical attention that may be required, and for vaccinations to reduce risk of diseases.In order to make this possible, we would love to hear from any volunteers and people wanting to make donations to the cause.Please email us atlombokanimalrescue@gmail.com
