Born in Switzerland in 1976 (italian origins), Luciano Dell'Oreficeapproaches architecture at EPFL and graduates in product & industrial design at the University of Art and Design of Lausanne (ECAL) 2005.He worked 2 years for Studio Patricia Urquiola in Milan.Back in Lausanne, he opens ihis own studio in 2007 working as a freelance designer combined with a research activity in Geneva and Lausanne.Based on the observation and interpretation of contemporary life behaviors, the Studio looks for simple concepts in order to re-think and raise the quality of objects and interiors. Whether the industrial ones or the handcrafted ones, ephemeral or permanent.His works include many aspects of the design such as product, furniture and small architecture.
