Pacific Backlot offers an extensive range of top-notch production services and equipment rentals to film, television, commercial and theatrical productions in BC. Large or small, every production is important to us and our crew takes great pride in providing the best service and equipment possible.PBS was established in 1999 as a corporate subsidiary of Vancouver Film Studios. The company's mandate was to provide production services and equipment to productions shooting at VFS. The original services included lifts, communications and data services, photocopiers, fax rentals, disposal services, and office furniture but quickly expanded to include lighting and grip packages, dollies and location rentals. The philosophy of the company from the start was simple: buy the best, hire the best, and above all else, keep pace with the changing needs of the industry. Today, Pacific Backlot Services continues to operate from their Vancouver Film Studios office warehouse but the PBS customer base now extends to productions shooting throughout Western Canada.
