Power Inferno Wrestling Academy, along with head coach Shawn Charles, brings a fresh new wrestling program to Arizona. Coach Charles has 30+years of coaching/wrestling experience, coaching at several of the premier programs in the country, such as, Iowa State, Nebraska, University of Missouri, as well as his alma mater, Arizona State University. During his coaching tenure he has trained 42 All-Americans, 5 NCAA Champions and 3 Olympians. His concentration now will be training the members of PIWA year-round. PIWA is a supplemental program designed to harness the greatness in each wrestler and give them a true competitive edge, assisting coaches and being an added resource for parents.
