innovateTN is an initiative of the Directorate of Technical Education[DoTE] in partnership with StartupTN, with Forge as the Knowledge and capability partner leading the design, development and implementation of the program across the various centres in Tamil Nadu.At its core, the innovateTN Labs shall be a self-contained Integrated Innovation Lab, offering the necessary technical infrastructure covering equipment, tools, and other resources to help build technology-led innovations that harness the power of emerging technologies apart from providing various technological skills and innovation competencies development programs. The lab is modelled on the lines of the Forge. Labs, an accredited FABLAB under the Fab Foundation, Centre for Bits and Atoms, MIT, USA.The innovateTN Labs offers state of art tech infra & resources, industry problem statements, prototyping support and guides participants through a structured and rigorous process of converting innovative ideas into deployable prototypes seeding a continuous pipeline of innovators and student startups for our incubation ecosystem while nurturing the future ready talent for our startups, MSMEs and Large companies. It will act as a robust innovation ecosystem contributing to the state's innovation outcomes by providing government, MSMEs, technology providers, academia, R&D, innovators & startup entrepreneurs, investors, and incubators to collaborate in an Open Innovation model.
